Coraline – Film Tie-In Edition

Neil Gaiman is British and lives in the USA. He is the author of many highly acclaimed novels for adults and children and he has a cult following for his work in the graphic novel arena. Neil also writes screenplays and two of his own works are now films, Stardust and Coraline. M is For Magic, published by Bloomsbury in March 2008, is a collection of wonderful stories, which range between fantasy, humour, science fiction and a sprinkling of horror. The Dangerous Alphabet, published by Bloomsbury in May 2008, is a riotous piratical ghost story told in thirteen devilishly disturbing couplets. The Graveyard Book, published by Bloomsbury in October 2008, is an original novel deftly constructed over eight chapters, featuring every second year of Bod’s life, from babyhood to adolescence. Will Bod survive to be a man? Available in a children's edition illustrated by Chris Riddell, an adult edition illustrated by Dave McKean and a limited edition, signed, slipcased edition signed by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean. Mirrormask, published by Bloomsbury in November 2008, is a full colour graphic novella featuring art from the movie interspersed with all new illustrations

Tie-in edition of the animated feature directed by Henry Selick, director of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, with a cast including Teri Hatcher, Ian McShane, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and Dakota Fanning
When a young girl ventures through a hidden door, she finds another life with shocking similarities to her own.
Coraline has moved to a new house with her parents and she is fascinated by the fact that their ‘house’ is in fact only half a house! Divided into flats years before, there is a brick wall behind a door where once there was a corridor. One day it is a corridor again and the intrepid Coraline wanders down it. And so a nightmare-ish mystery begins that takes Coraline into the arms of counterfeit parents and a life that isn’t quite right.
Can Coraline get out? Can she find her real parents? Will life ever be the same again?
