Dr S K Bhattacharya is currently working as Professor of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh. Formerly he was the Director of NITTTR, Kolkata and Principal of TTTI (Now NITTTR), Chandigarh. He acquired his ME and PhD degree from Calcutta University and BITS, Pilani, respectively. He has to his credit 36 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, and has had academic interaction with many industries and universities in UK, Netherlands, Australia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. He has published a number of textbooks, over 150 technical papers in national and international journals and seminar proceedings. He has also prepared a large number of learning materials in different forms.
